The Junior League of
Oakland-East Bay and other Community leaders founded Family Stress Center in 1976.
FSC opened it's doors and began providing services to families in 1978.
Our mission is to
strengthen families and to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect in Contra Costa County by providing counseling, educational and support services focusing
on the essential needs of children and their families.
Our services are provided from our
own facilities in Concord,
Antioch and Bay Point. They are also provided in donated space in schools, churches and community buildings throughout Contra Costa County.
