The following is a schedule of Family Stress Centers Parent Education courses, using S.T.E.P. curriculum.
Pre-registration is required as class size is limited. Please complete the necessary form (below) and return it as soon as possible with your check or money order payable to Family Stress Center.

Systematic Training for Effective Parenting of Teens(S.T.E.P) Curriculum

Being the parent of a teen is rewarding, exciting and challenging. We believe the rewards of parenting can far outweigh the challenges. With skills and understanding, you can guide your teen to be responsible, cooperative , self-reliant and independent. In doing this, you build a strong, positive relationship with your teenager. Even parents facing serious problems with teens can find more effective ways to get along with and help their teenager.

Week 1 - Introduction, Parenting Style Week 5 - Using Consequences to Building Responsibility                        & Cooperation & Successful Discipline that works

Week 2 - Understanding Your Teen Week 6 - Deciding What to Do: Part 1
                         Solving Homework Issues Without the stress

Week 3 - Communicating Respect and Encouragement
Week 7 - Deciding What to Do: Part 2

Week 4 -   Encouraging Cooperation & Problem Solving   Week 8 - Problem Solving
